How do dentists treat small cavities?

I am a 33 year old female. I want to know how do dentists treat small cavities?

It depends on the age of the patient: young with small cavity, I treat; old with small cavity, I monitor.
Cavities will only grow. They need to be removed to stop the destruction process of your healthy teeth. Some people use traditional hand pieces or hard tissue lasers to remove the lesion and then fill the cavity with composite resin. Or bonding.
Hi,

Very conservatively and minimally invasive by placing resin composite restorations.
Thanks for the question!
You can treat a small cavity with a tooth colored filling or with fluoride depending how it looks clinically. Fluoride can’t reverse the cavity but can help it from growing larger.
Simply remove black spot and fill with tooth color composite. No anesthesia need and, filling will be invisible.
We have composite or tooth colored material that are cured with a blue light. There are some that still use silver filling, but not very many dentists use them.
