My son is 5 years old and he has a fever. How do you break a fever in a child naturally?

Depending on how high the fever is, you may still have to give him medicines. You can try cold wet rags on the forehead, give a lukewarm water bath, and undress him. If that doesnt work, you should give him Tylenol or Motrin.
As long as your five-year-old doesn't have an infection causing his fever like an ear infection or throat infection giving him plenty of liquids and applying a cold damp cloth to his forehead might help.
