You probably have an underlying condition that needs professional help. See your chiropractor.
Unfortunately, it is never normal to be in pain after exercising. Delayed onset muscle soreness is normal 24-72 hours after working out if you are not used to regular exercise.

If you are having pain after exercises you should get make an appointment with a physical therapist or chiropractor who can check you for underlying injuries or address structural issues that may be causing the pain. Hiring a personal trainer to make sure that you are performing the exercises properly and not hurting yourself might also be a good idea.
Stretch and stay moving. Depending on where the pain is in your back, it would be helpful to do mobility exercises. Also use heat to help those muscle relax, 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off. Depends on the type of pain. If your workout was intense, it could be delayed onset muscle soreness it should resolve in 2-3 days with rest. Typically, your back should not hurt after a workout. You should still go to a chiropractor to check out how your moving or if the pain lasts longer than 3 days.
First we need to determine the cause of the post workout pain. A great start would be to make sure you are hydrated before the work out, and post work out stretching. A full assessment needs to be completed to determine why it's happening in the first place because typically it isn't normal.
