How do you heal a deep pocket in your gums?

I am a 34 year old male. I want to know how do you heal a deep pocket in your gums?

By flossing very deep with proper technique and using little Christmas tree brush heads. If that doesn’t work well, you need to seek help from a gum surgeon to reduce your gum pocket.
Hi,

The first thing is to assess the cause of the pocket and its depth. If the tooth is sound with good probing depths except for one particular point, this could be a fracture, if the deep pockets are generalized, you can have periodontal disease and bone loss. If periodontal disease is present and gums bleed on brushing and flossing, you will need a dental cleaning (possibly scaling and root planing). But for general conversation, pocket depths of 1-3 mm is healthy, 4-5 mm is gingivitis and is reversible, 6mm and greater is periodontitis and you have incurred bone loss.
Hope this helps.
You go to a Periodontist or a Dentist that treats gum disease.
It all depends how deep the periodontal pocket is. Anything up to 6mm can easily be treated by non-surgical means. That would require scaling and root planing (deep cleaning) followed by antibiotic treatment called Arestin. Anything more than 6mm usually would require periodontal surgery.
Gotta get a scaling and root planing (also known as a deep cleaning), and the you are just halting the progression of the pocket. It never fully heals.
Usually, there is more than one deep pocket in the gums. Usually, the pocket is formed due to periodontal disease. Accumulation of plaque and calculus is the main cause of periodontal disease. To cure the deep pockets, you have to get rid of the etiology. I would advise you to have a consultation with a periodontist,
a specialist in gum disease. He or she can advise you on the treatment that is best suitable to your specific case.
By visiting the dentist first. Secondly, doing a good job with brushing the teeth and flossing as well.
