Ice 20 min on and one hour off, repeat! Go to your chiropractor. Reduce stress and watch your posture!!!
You’re a pain can be caused by several factors. To determine what is your best course of action you should have a spinal examination. In fact, commonly pain between your shoulder blades can be from a lack of the normal curve in your neck combined with misalignment in your mid back. You should consider scheduling an examination with a doctor of chiropractic.
First the cause must be determined. Then appropriate treatment can be done.
Hello,

A detailed and thorough examination by a chiropractor is a great first step. We are neuromuskuloskeletal specialists, so receiving a detailed evaluation will help assess what your problem is, how long it will take to fix it, what will be done, and usually how much your treatment plan will cost. I don't like surprising my patients with financials, so a detailed plan for treatment and payment are usually discussed during the first or second visit.
Conservative, gentle stretching and exercise may also provide benefit for you.

Respectfully,

Dr. Joel D. Duchon
This is commonly caused from poor posture and weakness in the back muscles. Strengthening the muscles of the back and sitting/standing in good posture will help.
