See your doctor. May need an X-ray or other work-up to find out what is causing the pain since it is chronic. Naturally, you can use turmeric until final diagnosis is known.
Chronic foot pain can have many causes. One of the main reasons is a muscle imbalance. I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.

Depends on where the pain is, heel pain treated with PT and steroid injections. Arthritis same way of treatment. Sometimes it is a change in shoes or a custom insert to put your foot in the proper position when walking and doing activities that will help your feet.
The first thing to do is to determine what is the cause of the "chronic foot pain", Then your doctor and you can formulate a treatment plan.
Your question is too broad to give a correct answer. The foot and ankle are very complicated structures, with 28 bones, 33 joints, multiple tendons and ligaments, as well as nerves and blood vessels. It is impossible to know how to treat your pain without knowing the general location and without a good examination. That being said, orthotics may alleviate a lot of issues not only with foot pain, but with ankle, knee, hip and low back pain
Unfortunately, it really depends on what is causing the chronic foot pain. If it is bio mechanical than an orthotic or shoe gear modification can be very helpful. If there is a structural deformity or old injury surgery may be necessary to provide lasting relief.
