While the cast is on, you must keep it dry. You can gently wash around your eyes and mouth with a moist cloth if you wish. The hair can be washed leaning backwards over the sink as it is done in hair salons. Once the cast is off, which is usually about one week you can shower and wash the nose directly.
Carefully. Washing your face is OK. If you have a cast, it should not get wet. Just do it where you are careful, mindful. You should not get the cast wet, and have common sense about this.

After rhinoplasty, patients typically have a splint on their nose. That should be kept dry. The easiest way to wash your face at that time is a washcloth and just avoid the splint.
