Neurologist Questions Brain Tumors

How is a brain tumor diagnosed?

After experiencing chronic migraines, and sometimes blurred vision, my doctor suggested that this could be due to a brain tumor and has recommended me to a neurologist to look into further. How are brain tumors usually diagnosed?

MRI scan in most cases, especially if there is a change in the nature of the headaches. Most scans turn out to be negative, but a neurologist can also offer more advanced treatment for migraines should that turn out to be the diagnosis.
