“How is sibling rivalry dealt with?”
My older son is extremely jealous of my younger one when we pay any attention to him. But we try our best to be fair with both kids. What should we do to help them like each other better? They are 9 and 5.

Do not try to be even with each child. They see that as not genuine. Fair yes but not necessarily totally equal. Each child must get what they "need" at the time. Please spend separate time with each child. Especially the father, for children of both sexes need their father's attention and input (even more than a mother's).
