I would say 6 to 8 weeks but it would be wise to ask the doctor who did your surgery they know more about what to tell you. I wish you well, oledochouse
You have to listen to what your body is telling you when it comes to sex after an appendectomy. If you are having pain then stop. You may have a low incision that may make friction uncomfortable. In that case change to a more comfortable position.
You should ask your surgeon since each case is different, but in general, 2 weeks after surgery is safe for light duty work and 6 weeks for full recovery with no restrictions, thus should be safe after 6 weeks.
It depends, did you have laparoscopic or open? Laparoscopic will be a week maybe; it depends how you feel. Be careful when you resume this activity, as there may be some unexpected soreness that can catch you by surprise. But the answer is when you feel ready. If you had an open procedure because of what ever reason it will be a few weeks before you are ready. There is nothing you will break, but you will have more soreness and swelling so the wait is longer. And the final answer is, ask the surgeon who did the procedure, they have their own feelings on this subject. We all are different in how we answer this question and your surgeon should be the captain of this ship as far as you are concerned.
Three weeks after your surgery, being moderate and careful if you are having an uneventful recovery.
Depends if you had laparoscopc or open (long or big) surgical incision. Generally 5 days to as long as 3-4 weeks. Pain tolerance is also critical.
You should hold off on sex, or any other strenuous activity, until you feel comfortable. For most people, that is about 2 weeks. You can resume activities when your symptoms are limited to soreness or discomfort. Pain at your incisions during an activity is a reason not to do that activity.
