You can eat norma food in most cases almost right away if you chew somewhere else in the mouth. to chew directly on an implant site is hard to be accurate to answer but a couple months would be reasonable. That answer will vary by the situation.
Typically, it is advisable not to chew directly on the site where the implant was placed, especially foods that are dense in nature such as pizza crust. This practice should be continued for approximately 3 months. There should not be any restrictions on other areas of the mouth where implants were not placed.
Typically 3 weeks is a safe zone. Preferably stay away from super hard foods like hard candy, almonds, etc when the metal peg (healing abutment) is showing. That can be 4 months or a couple of weeks depending on when your surgeon puts it on the implant.
You have to check with your surgeon. Very often, it’s a few weeks.
Please ask your implantologist as it varies from cases.
Although the rest time depends on the particular surgery and its complexity, after dental implant surgery it is recommended at least one week of soft and cold food, as well as avoiding any effort and exercise. Once the soft tissue has healed, it will depend on whether the implant is immediately loaded or not.

It’s wonderful you’ve gotten implants! The placing office should have given you post-op instructions and it’s imperative that you follow them or risk failure that would be due to non-compliance. Depending on your health history, medications, bone density, location and materials used, final appliance it will support, and more…this can vary widely. You would be wise to have a postop appointment and discuss it with your placing doctor’s office. As a guide in the interim, I don’t ever see great outcomes with immediate load( use right away) or worse: quick failures. In perfect situations, posterior mandibular implants can sometimes be ready in 4-6 months and the longest worst-case is anterior maxilla ( especially in presence of trauma) which can take up to a year. You can eat, just modified. I have used myself and my patients a protein shake by adding a healthy oil. Once the gingiva “ pink tissue” is 100% healed u may introduce frozen fruit to blend that has seeds. A quality greek yogurt with honey is also great as it's got as much protein as some meats and helpful live cultures of active probiotics. Look for the highest variation in strains such as Fage. I choose the full 5% fat to stay full longer and assist cellular membranes. A high-quality multivitamin is advised while in this healing period. Have fun!
This is a very broad question. It depends on whether you had a single implant or multiple implants. Your practitioner should have gone over post-op instructions. Some implant surgeries are very simple and others complicated. It also depends on where the location of the implant is and if a temporary tooth was put on the implant (I.e. a front tooth). I would use caution and consult the doctor who did the surgery.
It really depends on what was done. Asking your dentist is the best bet but typically you want to eat a soft diet if you have a temporary tooth on the implant. If you have a healing cap or it's under the gum tissue just be careful about eating hard things in that area. Talk to your doc and they should be able to give you a more exact answer!
