Swelling is to be expected after a blepharoplasty. It will peak at 24-48hrs and then subside slowly in the next few days. The majority of that swelling will be resolved in 7-10days.
Typically, eyelid swelling after blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) usually lasts for about 2 weeks. There may be some residual incisional swelling but it typically resolves over the first few weeks.
After 2 weeks swelling should be much improved and makeup can be applied. Please consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon.

It may take a few weeks for the swelling to go down.
it really depends on the type of eyelid surgery you get. But for a simple blepharoplasty, there shouldn’t be so much swelling. Of course every individual is different. Your surgeon will give you advice as to how to minimize the swelling such as sleeping with your head elevated, or maybe using some ice. Good luck!
