How long do you have to be off your feet after bunion surgery?

I am a 38 year old male. I want to know how long do you have to be off your feet after bunion surgery?

Just 2 to 3 days and then physiotherapy can be done.
Most doctors will let you put weight on your heel while in a boot immediately after surgery for 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, and once the bone begins to heal, you can put some weight on the foot in a regular shoe. Normal walking isn't until 3 months or so.

Hope it helps!!

Discuss with Podiatrist, but about 2-4 weeks.
