Although it depends on each patient's tolerance, for most situations, if there is no infection, 24-48 hrs. Some may need to use over-the-counter pain meds for that time period. The use of cold packs is encouraged to decrease the inflammatory response.
Ask the doctor who is doing the procedure

Every case is different and depends on the severity of the case. To give an accurate answer please schedule a consultation with Dr John Hackbarth. He has a vast amount of experience and knowledge and can answer your questions on pinhole surgery as well as let you know about any other options that might fit your lifestyle.
I really don't know. That is something you'll have to ask your periodontist or whoever is doing this procedure for you. I know how it's done and have heard really good things about it and it's results, but I don't know any patients who have had it done. I'd suggest taking a couple of Tylenol (or the generic) beforehand. Good luck.
Recovery from a pinhole graft is reasonably quick. Usually a week of recovery time, with some swelling and tenderness. Avoid hard, sharp, and stringy foods and avoid brushing, flossing, and touching the area until your dentist gives you the green light to resume routine oral care. You can use OTC pain medications if needed.
