I will have dental implant surgery. How long does the pain last after a dental implant surgery?

It depends on the scope of the procedure, but 12-24 hrs is not uncommon, but sometimes it can be 3-4 days. Most single implants have the same ,or less, recovery time and experience as the original tooth removal.
That depends on the surgical placement surgery. Like extractions(tooth removal), not all dental implant surgeries are the same. Many implant surgeries have little to no post-operative pain reported by the patient. We expect a minimum of 3 days post-op discomfort covered well by over-the-counter medications ibuprofen, acetaminophen (Tylenol), or both.
Most patients have very little pain if any.
