How long does therapy take for anxiety?

I am a 33 year old female. I want to know how long does therapy take for anxiety?

It all depends on how sudden the onset. With chronic anxiety, treatment tends to be longstanding. More acute onset, it can be brief.
Minimum “dose” of therapy should be 20 weekly sessions. Depends on the severity of anxiety and whether or not the patient is also taking medication.
Hope this helps!
Treatment for anxiety can include both psychotherapy and/or pharmacotherapy (medication treatment). Generally it takes about 3 months or 90 days to have the treatment work. Of course, each individual is different, and response times may vary depending on the severity of the depression, how well the individual responds to treatment,
Not very long. Anxiety is the easiest treatment in psychotherapy. I’d say you can be well healed in about 6 months.

Anxiety is experienced when unconscious mind responds to a perceived threat by causing fear, preparing the body to flee from something that isn’t actually happening. That something is usually a mental image that unconscious mind responds to as if it is about to happen, is happening, or has just happened, and therefore requires an immediate action. There are
two messages that are communicated to unconscious mind:

1. What is being imagined requires no action because it isn’t happening
2. The fear response shuts down higher cognitive functions and is therefore worse than useless in any situation perceived as a threat that does not clearly call for physical flight.

How long that takes is mostly dependent on the skill of the therapist - sometimes one visit, sometimes a very long time without much improvement.

How long therapy takes is individual for every person, there isn't an exact number of sessions
