4 treatments per year of problem
it depends on the circumstances behind your knee pain. 1 - 15 treatments usually can take care of it, unless there is a chronic condition then it is palliative care for pain management as an alternative to pain medication
Three sessions per week or depending on pain condition. Some people take 1 session in 3 to 4 days.
It depends on the condition and the duration of the condition. We have a general rule of thumb, the longer in the making, the longer in the fixing. That said, degenerative conditions like arthritis will not be cured, but can be managed with ongoing treatment.

You may feel significant improvement in a few sessions, but I always recommend having 12 sessions of acupuncture.

There is no way to know how many treatments you will need for knee, or any other kind of pain. Just start going. Your body will tell you when it's enough.
It is hard to give an exact number, most patients do feel some type of relief after 3-5 treatments
Yes, acupuncture and massage with herbs can help relieve your knee pain gradually. I cannot tell exactly the correct number of sessions. If you see the progress, you better continue!
Probably won't matter how many you have. It is unlikely to work.
DEPENDS HOW LONG YOU HAVE HAD THE PROBLEM. IF YOU HAVE HAD THE PAIN FOR ONLY ONE MONTH, THEN ONE MONTH OF TX SHOULD BE ENOUGH. THE LONGER YOU HAVE HAD THE PROBLEM, THE LONGER THE TX PERIOD.
Usually it takes 4-5 sessions for knee pain.
Impossible to say. Just knowing you have knee pain doesn't give me nearly enough information to provide any guidance. Why do you have knee pain? Where is the pain located? How do you experience the pain? Is the pain constant or intermittent? Does the pain radiate or is it fixed? How long have you been experiencing this pain? What makes the pain better? What makes the pain worse? What have you tried so far and what sort of result(s) have those treatment(s) provided? Acupuncture is rarely a one and done treatment. It does happen that way occasionally, but usually patients are looking at a series of treatments. How many treatments are in that series? I usually don't have any idea until the 3rd or 4th treatment. It could be as few as 5-6, or it could be as many as 20-25.
