I will have LASIK surgery. How should I sleep after LASIK?

You'll want to sleep with either sunglasses on or a shield/goggles on for the first few nights. Protection should be provided by your LASIK facility with specific instructions on how to use them properly.

You can sleep normally, especially if you are a back sleeper. Very rarely, complications can occur due to corneal drag on a pillow and flap dislocation. After about 3-4 days this is no longer a concern.
