I am a 34 year old female. I want to know how successful are dental bone grafts?

If you are unhealthy and smoke probably not very successful. However, with newer techniques and materials it can be highly successful along with implant placement to preserve the newly grafted bone. Alveolar bone unfortunately tends to resorb over time in an edentulous patient.
With today's advancements bone grafts are very successful. It is, however, dependent on your general health and the skill of the doctor.
The success rate is high if the defect being grafted is a good recipient for the material used. The person placing the graft will advise you ahead of the procedure.
Very if done properly
They are very reliable. I have had many patients have bone grafting procedures done. I use a trained oral surgeon, and one that is not part of a chain dental group.

There are many different types of grafts. Generally speaking, when the proper material is placed by a competent doctor, the results are excellent.
There are different types of bone grafts. They can be highly successful, but they are technique sensitive.

They tend to be very successful. Some positions are even more successful than others. Growing bone width is somewhat easier than growing bone height.
Dental bone grafts are very successful, but the success is affected by a lot of factors like remaining bone infection in the area, smoking habit, and multiple other factors.
Thanks.
Bone grafting is very successful depending on a few things. Some are for example the type of bone or material used, skill of Surgon, health of patient and the ability of patient to follow the post op instructions. If the criteria are met the graft will have huge success rate. Talk with your dentist, do your research and pick a good provider.

High success rate, however, still there is failure. Better to discus with dentist regarding the "necessity, advantates, and disadvantages" of bone graft.
Generally, yes
