I believe you know the answer to this question. Disliking oneself as well as binge eating is an indication of underlying psychological issues that can be addressed in psychotherapy. Yes, you will benefit from therapy.
Yes, you are suffering so terribly. You do not approve & you are almost hating yourself for behaving in such a way. Okay, now think about this: You are ALIVE. You are young & have wonderful abilities & gifts. Why are you treating yourself so badly? Really, you deserve better. You are FREE. You are in charge of your behavior. It is true: Yes, you can CHOOSE to treat yourself like that & you are free & can choose to CHANGE… You CAN change the way you behave … You can decide to treat yourself WELL as you deserve with loving RESPECT…
Yes, you can.
Empowering yourself is a CHOICE. You are FREE & you have goodness & abilities use your LIFE ENERGY, gifts, life is the gift our parents give us. It is up to us to use it the BEST way we can.

Your awareness of a behavior that you do not like can greatly help in the incredible power of therapy. It sounds as if there may be some motivation to make a change in the specific behavior. Great, great, great opportunity to have therapy help!!!!

From this very brief description, what I can suggest is to see your doctor and get assessed for binge eating disorder. If you have that problem, the therapy could certainly help.
