OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions Pain during intercourse

I have severe pain after sex in my vaginal bone area. Why?

Every time me and my husband have sex, I have severe pain around my pelvic bone area. What could this be due to?

1-stretching the pelvic ligaments
2-osteoarthritic pain
3-endometriosis if you are under 50 years of age
That would require an exam to know for sure. You need to see a gynecologist.

It might have nothing to do with your pelvic bone, most of the problems are to do with soft tissue. You need to see your OBGyn and be examined to figure out the reason for your concern.

Take care!
The most likely cause for your pubic symphysis area are:

1. Vaginal infection
2. Cervical ectopia
3. Endometriosis
4. Pelvic infection
5. Bladder infection

You should plan to see a gynecologist as soon as possible for vaginal swabs, a urine sample, and a pelvic ultrasound scan. This will diagnose the cause and then the appropriate treatment cane be prescribed.
