I have swollen feet and ankles out of the blue?

I woke up to my feet and ankles badly swollen. It's been 3 days and still swollen.

Swelling in the feet and ankles that persists for three days should be evaluated by a medical professional. I recommend seeking immediate medical attention to determine the underlying cause and receive appropriate treatment.

It's best to be evaluated by a specialist

Painless swelling in both ankles with a sudden onset often is caused by a systemic issue meaning there's likely a health condition which started outside of the foot and ankle causing the swelling. This could include water retention, cardiovascular conditions, kidney conditions or even something simple like heat and salty food intake. I would recommend seeing your primary care physician.
I would recommend seeing your PCP.
You should go to your primary physician or a cardiologist to insure you don't have a blood clot, congestive heart failure, or other potentially life-threatening or severe medical problems if you have not had any trauma.
Depends on what is causing the swelling. It could be a local problem or a manifestation of a general medical problem. Consult with a Board Certified Podiatric Surgeon who is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.
I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for evaluation and treatment options
