“I'm losing feeling in two fingers?”
Hi, so about 2 months ago I hit the back of my hand while working outside. I had some mild swelling between the pinky knuckle and the ring figure knuckle. The swelling went down but about 2 weeks after it started again. This time a lot slower. The swelling hasn't stopped and now I am losing the feeling I have in my ring and pinky fingers. Please is this something I need to go to the emergency room for?

If there is direct trauma to her hand then this is not something that a neurosurgeon usually manages. She needs to see her PCP and get a referral to a hand surgeon.
I would recommend an evaluation by a local neurologist and an EMG as soon as is possible.
