OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

I'm spotting blood?

I am spotting blood once a month and I'm a 64 year old female. Is this or can this be normal?

At your age, this should NOT happen. A cancer or precancerous lesion needs to be ruled out. It may simply be a polyp or other benign lesion, but we don’t want to miss the bad things. See a gynecologist ASAP. You will need an exam. I would also highly suggest an ultrasound of the pelvis, and endometrial biopsy. A PAP should also be done if you don’t have a recent one. The doctor should be able to give you a diagnosis with the above.
Good luck. Don’t delay these recommendations!

You should not be spitting at 64yo. You need to see your Gyn and probably have a sonogram to look at the uterine lining. It is a safety precaution.
