Is Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP, 0.1% used to help with Phimosis?

I went to my doctor and they told me they would prescribe me something for my right foreskin phimosis and for eczema dry skin on my fingers. I went to pick it up at the pharmacy but they only gave me 1 package. it was 3 packs of triamcinolone. it says to use it twice a day. but I’m not sure if it’s for my phimosis or for my fingers. I’ve read online some websites said it’s for helping with phimosis and some websites say it’s not for phimosis and is used for eczema so I’m not sure what I should use it for. unless it can be for both?

Yes, Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream 0.1% can be used for both phimosis and eczema because it helps with swelling and tight skin.

For Phimosis (Tight Foreskin):
The cream can help loosen the foreskin by making the skin more flexible.
Apply a small amount to the tight area twice a day.
Gently stretch the foreskin after applying (but don’t force it).
It may take a few weeks to see results.
For Eczema (Dry, Itchy Skin on Fingers):
The cream reduces redness, itching, and dryness.
Apply a thin layer on your fingers twice a day.
What You Should Do:
Your doctor may have prescribed it for both conditions.
Call your doctor or pharmacist to make sure.
Do not use on cuts, infections, or broken skin.
