“How are holes in the heart closed?”
My friend is 35 years old and was find with a hole in their heart. His doctor wants to have it closed, but my friend thinks he should just live with it. How are holes in the heart closed? And is it dangerous to live with it?

There are a number pf holes, which can be big or small. Of your cardiologist wants to close it, then I would suggest it is probably worth doing. If it is an atrial septal defect it can be closed with a small umbrella fed in through a vein in the leg, others may need surgery.
