Acupuncture yes
Yes, acupressure can help with back pain. I recommend acupuncture for longer term results with relieving back pain.
Yes.
I do acupuncture which is stimulation of the points with needles. I do not do acupressure
Yes absolutely.
Yes!
So, when I hear "acupressure," I think of a massage therapist or amateur dabbler in East Asian medicine who doesn't fully understand this complex medicine I practice fully.... I think of people buying a book on Amazon and skimming the surface barely and pushing on some points they read about. Perhaps that is not your understanding of the meaning of acupressure. I'm going to say this to you: find a professional who went to school specifically for acupuncture for several years to work on you. A bunch of frauds who didn't are out there. Get someone fully trained.
Yes, but better to do the real thing.
Yes, you can learn a few points from your local acupuncturist.
Yes, it is.
Yes. Acupuncture and acupressure can be very helpful in treating back pain.
You can certainly try it, but in my experience acupuncture (using needles) provides faster time to pain reduction/pain relief and the effects last longer.
