No. Your veneers should fit as a glove on your teeth and feel as strong, natural teeth. Bad taste in the mouth is a result of the bacteria build-up around your veneers. This might be an indication of the rough, open, or ill-fitting margin. Contacting the practitioner who gave you those veneers is strongly advised.

The day You have the Veneers delivered, You may feel a bad taste that could last for 24-36 Hrs. This is produced by all the solutions we use to prepare, clean
and etch your teeth prior to placing the veneers. You should NOT have a bad taste AT ALL after two days. If You do it can be do to bleeding of your gums or small spaces that collect or trap food. See Your dentist if that is the case.

After getting your porcelain veneers, a bad taste can be due to bacterial seepage. I advise you to see your veneer dentist, for checking the fit of the veneers and confirm it with x-rays re proper fit, if the finish line is under the gums. It will be helpful to do a full mouth evaluation, including checking the gums! For more information on dental veneers click here:
