How long you enjoy the benefits of your chiropractic adjustments truly depends on you do you go back to your old poor bad habits or do you work out to stabilize your alignment?

Great question! Chiropractic adjustments work and it’s rarely just one adjustment. Think of your car, do wheel alignment last? They can if we take care of our car but hit a sidewalk and you can loose it. Periodic maintenance will help once the pain is gone. Stretching and strengthening the back muscles also help keep you aligned
It depends on the severity of the Spinal condition. Also, is there arthritis in the spinal joint? Is the lower back pain (LBP) new (acute), or long lasting (chronic)? Generally speaking, when the onset of LBP recent (acute), Chiropractic adjustment works very well and quickly for LBP. Chronic LBP, responds well too to Chiropractic treatment, but it takes longer that achieve long lasting results.
Depending on the overall health of your spine including the health of your muscles, your alignment and your posture, the time a chiropractic adjustment correction stays is a reflection of these factors. This will be determined and explained in your initial chiropractic assessment.
Hello
Chiropractic is effective in alleviating low back pain.
We all like them to be. Unfortunately the stressors of life can cause too much stimuli and the body may not have the resources in order to adapt efficiently and effectively. That's why its a good idea to get checked regularly, just to make sure the body is firing on all cylinders.
There is no right answer as to how long an adjustment will "hold" or will "last" any one person. There are many variables that play into how long each adjustment lasts and the frequency of your treatments.
We design our care plans to create long-lasting changes. Some patients choose to stop care when their pain or symptom goes away but an underlying issue may still be present. Sticking to the care plan is how we get long lasting changes and results!
Yes.
Just like dental care, chiropractic care can help with back pain, but once you heal you need to have good spinal hygiene. How long your adjustment lasts has a lot of factors, but some people have relief for an extended time.
Thank you for your question. The length a someone can hold an adjustment varies from person to person. Regular chiropractic care at our office can range from bimonthly appointments to 3 times a week. It depends on the individuals needs at the time.
