Unfortunately, yes. It is normal for teeth to be sore to use as they start to move. Fortunately, it will not last too long. Everyone is different but usually about 3 days.
Absolutey ! Your teeth have all been bound together for years. They now are not connected to one another and have freedom of movement. Your teeth are accomodating to these changes and they will be tender. THis should all resolve in a week or two
Yes, soreness during braces is normal and very expected. If you think about it, you're physically moving your teeth around in the jaw bone so that they get to the desired position. So you will feel soreness in the teeth and in the bone throughout your treatment. It is usually at its worst when you have your brackets and wires adjusted, but this initial soreness usually.
It is perfectly normal for your teeth to be hurt after your braces is being put on. Normally this type of toothache will go away after a few days to a week. On some unusual occasions, the discomfort may even last for a couple of weeks. When your teeth are hurting during this transient period of time, there are a couple of things you can do. First, take some over-the-counter ( OTC) pain relief medicine. Secondly, stay on a soft diet during this short period. Avoid chewy, tough, and crunchy food.
Yes, it is normal. Take prescribe Over counter medication by your Orthodontist. Give it about 5-7 days to resolve itself. Beyond the 7th day, return to your Orthodontist.
