I am a 21 year old female. I want to know if it is rare to have naturally straight teeth?

I would say no. There are plenty of individuals that have never had to have orthodontic treatment. Consider yourself lucky and you saved your parents a lot of money by not having to have braces.
It is not rare, and certainly saves you from orthodontic treatment
