Could be because of wisdom tooth or there are other things that can cause similar symptoms, such as infected tooth, ear infection &...
There are a variety of causes for jaw pain in the back of your mouth... of which, wisdom tooth pain could be one of them... I would advise you see an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for evaluation.
Very possible. Get x-rays to confirm.
Sorry to hear that! Jaw pain is usually related to the TMJ or dental caries/infections. If you can, make a visit to the dentist for a panorex x-ray to see if your wisdom tooth is involved.
It is possible that the pain you are feeling is coming from the eruption of your wisdom teeth or from irritation around the tooth. In order to give you a proper diagnosis and offer you an appropriate treatment plan it has to be examined by your dentist. In the meantime, you may get some temporary relief by taking an over-the-counter pain reliever and rinsing frequently with hot salt water (1 tsp salt in 8 oz glass of water that is as hot as you can stand it). These will take down any swelling that may be present. You should see a dentist for evaluation.
Wisdom tooth pain is the most likely suspect when having the type of pain that you are describing. The pain may also be from a cavity that has now reached the nerve. The only way to know for sure is to get it checked out by your dentist.
It is possible the pain may be from a wisdom tooth. Seeing a dentist who can take an X-ray should give you the answer.
