It really depends on the extent of your scoliosis!
scoliosis, over 25 to 50° are candidates for surgery and anything over 50° is definitely a candidate for surgery as it pinches the nerve structures supplying life to your organs. Determining factors are many here is some of them: your angles, age, lifestyle, activity level, and you symptoms will guid your care.
Before I used to use hard braces ( Milwaukee) then I used a system called spinecore, an expensive program ( $8K-$15K) with lots of X-rays exposure to patients and low compliance. Today I use the full bodysuit from bax-u.com ($450.00) using the biotension bands instantly adjust and uncoils the body based on patients standing X-rays. Correction and adjustments are instantly seen on shoulder, mid back, lower back and hips allows me to correct and relieve pain from scoliosis while the person looks good, reduce loading on joints and offers reduced damage, Without wearing big bulky medical device.

No, u can do exercises to help your self
Surgery for scoliosis in general depends on the size of the curve and the amount of growth remaining. Assuming you have a relatively large curve of greater than 50 degrees, surgery is the only way to "fix" the curve on your xray however many patients with scoliosis can lead a very active and fulfilling life without surgery as long as their curve is balanced and remains stable over time and they maintain normal BMI and keep physically fit.
Surgery is not considered until the angles of your scoliosis are significant. To date we still don’t understand why this happens but are researching to try and understand it. I don’t believe there are any other methods to date. Check in Europe to see if they have found anything.
No. Chiropractic treatment can be effective especially for mild to moderate scoliosis. Severe Scoliosis with symptoms many times does indicate surgery.
Its definitely not the only method. It depends on when it started and the degree of the scoliosis. I've seen mild scoliosis X-rays improve back to a "normal" looking spine after 6 mo of Chiropractic care.
It is not. It depends upon your age and the degree of curvature that you are presenting with. The goal is to make you feel better, not necessarily to correct your curvature to 0 degrees.
Hello

Best to consult a chiropractor for proper evaluation of scoliosis to determine necessary treatment.
No, rarely is surgery needed.
Scoliosis has a wide a range of degrees and without reviewing your health history, x-rays and lifestyle, it would be hard to assess your condition. If your curve is past a certain degree, a neurosurgical consult is never a bad idea, but sometimes with a consistent effort of chiropractic, mirror image exercises and stretching, scoliosis can be halted or decreased. Age is also a factor. Once again, without knowing more information, I would be hard pressed to answer definitively.
Thank you for your question. I cannot say yes or no for your specific case since we have not done x-rays or an exam. Depending on the curvature degree and location, non-invasive care could be an option. There are times when surgery is be best treatment.
Hi, there are different stages to scoliosis. The most severe cases are usually what surgery is used for. Depending on what stage of scoliosis , chiropractic care, bracing or surgery can be utilized.
