Knee question?

I'm 62 years old and I'm not overweight. I play tennis once a week on cement. My right knee pains me for about 4 days afterwards. I'm not sure where. The only place I can pinpoint is above the knee. Above the kneecap, when I'm sitting and I rub the top of the knee/leg, my light knee hurts almost like rubbing a bruise, my left knee feels fine when I rub this area. Is it the tendon? It's kinda chronic now.

It sounds like tendinitis. I would get an evaluation from an orthopaedic surgeon. You do not want to run the risk of rupturing the quadriceps tendon which is the thigh muscle connection to the knee cap or patella.
