Left thigh growing larger than my right thigh?

About 8 months ago, my lower back and left thigh started going numb, feeling cold and tingling in one spot when I would lie down. The feeling slowly started spreading and now my whole thigh is that way. About 5 months ago my thigh began visibly enlarging (i don't think it is fluid because it is hard and doesn't move about) and now it constantly itches and gets pinches in like I'm being stabbed with needles and feels cold inside. Once in a while, it aches down into my toes. Sometimes my front lower calf gets fluid inside it alongside the bone in the front that indents if I push on it and I get pinches that itch in the muscle near the said bone. I have also lost about ten pounds in the last month and a half without changing my diet or upping my physical activity in any way. My question is what could it be and do I need to go to a doctor? I'm worried it may be some kind of cancer or lymph node issue but have no insurance so don't want to do to an ER unless necessary.

I suggest you see a doctor(s) IMMEDIATELY and determine what it is and treat it immediately.
It’s difficult to say with information you have provided. Causes could be vast. Need to see a doctor for proper evaluation.
