“Loss of taste”
Do you know any treatments to restore loss of taste? My wife was on 5 weeks of high-powered antibiotics for cellulitis, then was started on Ozempic for 5 weeks, and is battling internal candida overgrowth from the use of the antibiotics. She had several days of metallic/bitter taste, and now about 2 weeks of nearly no taste at all. She has been off the antibiotics for about 5 - 6 weeks, and she stopped the Ozempic about 2 weeks ago, and is taking a candida cleanse. Thank you

This is not a common side effect of taking long term antibiotics, but it is known. Give it a month or two to see if the taste and smell does not return slowly but surely. If not, try to find an ENT that has a specialty in taste and smell (they exist) and see if he or she can find anything that will help.
