Hi, yes go to your GP
yes please follow up with your PCP for further evaluation and management
There are different causes of migraine, such as magnesium deficiency, for example, it is advisable to see your GP for further recommendations.
Please go to a primary care provider to get evaluated right away for migraines. For at home remedies to help with migraine pain relief please take over the counter Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs such as ibuprofen. You can take over the counter Dimenhydrinate (brand name are: Dramamine; Driminate; GoodSense Motion Sickness) to help with relief from dizziness. At home remedies you can try to prevent migraine attacks are good sleep hygiene, exercise regularly, maintain a routine meal schedule and have adequate fluid intake. Getting sufficient sleep along with keeping relatively constant bedtime and wake-up times on weekdays and weekends are particularly important to help prevent migraines. Increased daily water intake has been associated with reduced headache severity. Fasting or skipping meals is a migraine trigger and should be avoided.
