Ophthalmologist Questions Ophthalmologist

My eye became swollen because they were poked by a sharp object?

Hello, I want to ask. Can a swollen eye that was poked by a sharp object cause double vision? And can it be healed? Also, double vision isn't on all objects. Usually when I'm seeing lamps only. There's only near 24h since the accident until I write this question for the duration.

Yes. If you have a corneal injury (the clear part of the front of your eye), you may see halos or even double images. Please see your ophthalmologist or optometrist to ensure that you do not have a significant injury that requires treatment.
A complete ophthalmologic examination should be performed to determine if you have an abrasion.
Yes double vision or diplopia can happen after injury involving cranial nerves
