My father vomited after his chemo session. Is it normal?

As soon as my father came back home after his chemotherapy session he vomited. Is this normal?

Hello. I am sorry to hear about the vomiting experienced by your father. Nausea and vomiting are common side effects from chemotherapy. Each chemotherapy has an individual chance of causing this side effect. For this reason it is common (standard) to administer anti-nausea drugs to try to prevent this. It will be important to tell your fathers oncologist about this side effect as his premedication May need to be adjusted or the instructions for post chemotherapy drugs may need to be changed.
Continued. Diet matters as does bowel function, environment, and psych support. V is only normal if one doesn't avoid it. Learn from and do not repeat poor control experience.
It’s an unfortunate side effect but there are many meds to stop this. Have him tell his medical oncologist
