“Norovirus ”
I am due to go on a family holiday on Monday where we are all staying in a house together. My sisters family all came down with what we think was norovirus over the weekend (her, her partner, baby who's 1 and child who's 7) I am really worried about us catching it (even though it will have been a week since they recovered) how long are you contagious with something like this? I don't want to go and everyone end up sick

I think you are referring to the Novovirus, a notoriously infectious virus that is transmitted by droplets and by close contact. It is almost certain that if you enter a house were that virus is active, that you will be infected. Wearing a mask may offer some protection, but not 100%. The best strategy would be to stay away.
