The pain may be due to a shortening of an extremity or pelvic dysmetria.
It is possible for lumbar spine pathology to cause leg pain. Most commonly, this is due to irritation of the nerve roots that exit the lumbar spine and run down the legs (i.e. pinched nerve(s)). The medical term for this is lumbar radiculopathy. If severe enough, it can become if a medical emergency called cauda equina syndrome. One symptom of this condition is inability to control bladder or bowel function. If this occurs, you should be seen in the local ED immediately. Otherwise, I'd suggest seeing a local physician for further evaluation and management.
Most back pain resolves within a few days. You say you’ve had pain now for 3 days and that it goes to your legs which is more concerning. If you haven’t tried Motrin or Alleve and Tylenol, give that a try for a couple days. If after that you’re still having pain, I suggest you see your doctor because you may have a disc herniatiion which is a fairly common cause of back and leg pain. An MRI would be the way to determine that.
