“Post carpal tunnel surgery”
Three weeks post carpal tunnel surgery, wound has healed really well. I have a red swollen area about 1cm by 2cm on my wrist just below the scar. Tender and hypersensitivity to touch.. I was worried it was something like a clot?

Common to have some redness this early Should improve with time Not a clot Need to watch for skin infection.

Post surgery swelling can be from multiple reasons. It needs evaluation . Please see your doctor urgently or go to nearest ER or urgent care. Rupesh Tarwala
