My father-in-law uses alot of salt on his food....alot! Minutes after his whole head turns red. Does that mean he uses too much salt?

If you do not have a blood pressure apparatus, get one. Measure his blood pressure before and after a meal. If there is a large difference, take him to see your family physician. If the difference is minimal, don't worry about it. Flushing, as the red head is a facet of, can happen for many reasons, but blood pressure caused flushing can be dangerous.
