Should I go to the ER for vomiting and diarrhea?

I have vomiting and diarrhea already 24 hours. Should I go to the ER for vomiting and diarrhea?

Yes. More than likely you have either food poisoning or stomach virus, but you should go to ER to rule out something hidden.
Duration of nausea and vomiting by itself isn't typically a reason to go to the ED. However, if you are having severe abdominal pain, fever, blood in the stool, confusion, or are getting dehydrated - those are all reasons to go to the ED. If the vomiting and diarrhea persist for several days, that would be a reason to go to the clinic to see a provider.

The short answer is, yes. Without being able to see you or examine you, the safest thing is to go to an urgent care or emergency room to be triaged and see if you need fluids, antibiotics, etc.
Yes.
It depends on the severity, how long it lasts, and whether you are getting dehydrated. Use your common sense.
