I am a 39 year old male. I want to know if I should wear a knee brace after meniscus surgery?

Usually knee bracing is not necessary after meniscus surgery, but that is between you and your knee surgeon.
It’s optimal for resection. Usually for repairs.
A brace is not necessary after typical meniscus surgery where a portion of the meniscus is removed (meniscectomy). If the meniscus is being repaired with sutures, a brace is usually required for approximately 6 weeks.
