“Should you pick up a crying baby at night?”
My baby is 5 months old. I want to know if I should pick up a crying baby at night?

About this age, babies learn that they can cry and you will come to them or pick them up - if you do this, you will reinforce this behavior and your baby will continue to cry about the same time every night despite not needing anything. Give him a little verbal comfort, but try not to pick him up or really mess with him unless he is really in distress.
