“Sleep apnea and ativan ???”
My name is Cynthia and I'm 36. I'm overweight and have OSA and anxiety. Lately my panic attacks have been really bad so the doctor prescribed me 1mg of ativan to take when needed. I also am thinking of getting a cpap machine myself since I'm getting abit of money and I don't want to wait for funding for one so my question to you is when I get my cpap machine and start using it, will I still be able to take ativan if I need it and will it be ok to do so since I'll have a cpap machine?

I don't recommend getting a CPAP machine without a prescription or a diagnosis. If you do have sleep apnea, Ativan will be safer with a CPAP. Please see a sleep physician or at least a pulmonologist who can order a sleep study.
