With the presence of a catheter indwelling incidence of infection is high. See a urologist for further evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
Sorry to hear your suffering as described, for which you should go to see your urologist or the specific doctor for catheter care ASAP. Yet, your brief history strongly suggested that most likely you got a catheter-related bacterial acute epidymo-orchitis (inflammation of epididymis and testis). To prepare you with knowledge so as to experience a meaningful meet with doctors, please read "Sick? What to DO?" at http://formefirst.com/eNewsletter06.html.
Besides, you may review other life/urology-related pages for further long-term care. Here comes with my best wishes for getting good medical care, health, happiness, and Happy Thanksgiving and Holidays 2020.
Could do a vasectomy to stop it.
