Warm tendon, no pain??

I have EDS, and recently started working out. I accidentally overworked myself pretty bad, and had some really bad soreness. I had trouble walking etc, I was worried I had strained some muscles, so I took it easy and iced a lot. It's been three days and I'm walking mostly fine and the soreness is fading. But now that the pain is mostly gone, my Achilles tendon on one foot is quite swollen, and very warm to the touch. But here's the kicker, I have full mobility, no itching, no pain, no stiffness, nothing. I'm so confused!! When I had the intense leg pain from working out, I never noticed any Achilles tendon pain, just really intense calf pain. (I did warm up and stretch and I didn't push crazy hard, I find that my eds body just needs extra gentle workouts.) Anyway, it's like my body is fighting some tear that doesn't seem to have occurred at all, and it's making me curious. Any idea what's happening? The warmth occured quite suddenly about an hour ago.

Probably tendinitis. If it goes past 3 to 4 weeks I would see ortho foot and ankle or podiatry and get mri . It could be a partial tear Sent from Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
Swelling and warmness can be from inflammation (tendinitis) or infection. I would suggest to your doctor or go to urgent care to make sure there is no partial tear. Ice for swelling until you see the doctor.
Hard to say exactly. But if there's no pain with full motion and function, we usually don't worry about things.
