If by side effects you mean risks, then these would include infection, postoperative bleeding dents, irregularities, and asymmetries. Anesthesia risks vary from minor post-op nausea to heart attack, stroke, pulmonary embolism, and even death. The latter are extremely rare fortunately, particularly in a young, healthy person.
With any surgery there can be side effects such as: bleeding, Serina (body fluid accumulation) infection, ski discolored, skin dimpling, fat embolism syndrome, fat emboli, asymmetrical result, sagging skin, and other unforeseen problems. Please understand that liposuction is the top aesthetic surgical procedure and serious complications are very rare. Best is to see a certified plastic surgeon with experience who can evaluate you.
Good luck.
The side effects of liposuction are loss of sensation In the area that has been suctioned, irregularities in the skin that may have some improvement with time, and sometimes permanent changes in skin irregularities. Most, if not all can be prevented by going to an experienced plastic surgeon. Ask to see pictures, and ask about his/her experience.
Pain, numbness, dimpling of the skin, asymmetry, and seroma infection are all possible risks of liposuction. It would be best to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to learn more.
